BG Automation is operated by Lawrence. This policy explains how information is handled when the app is used and when you contact us.
BG Automation is a private tool for publishing content to the operator’s own Facebook Pages. It does not offer Facebook account connections to the public.
1. Information used
For authorized Page publishing, the app processes information provided through Facebook’s API or supplied by the operator, including:
- Facebook Page names and IDs, and administrator identifiers provided as part of authorization.
- Access tokens and permissions needed to access the authorized Pages.
- Text, images or other content submitted for publication, and the resulting post IDs and links.
- API responses and operational information needed to check whether a publishing action succeeded or to resolve an error.
If you email us, we receive your email address and the information you choose to include. Please do not send passwords or access tokens in a privacy request.
2. How information is used
Information is used to authorize access to the operator’s Pages, publish approved content, confirm the result, resolve technical problems and respond to privacy requests. App information is not used for unrelated advertising or profiling.
3. Sharing and public posts
Information is sent to Meta/Facebook as needed to carry out authorized publishing actions. Technical providers involved in running the publishing workflow may process information needed to provide their services. Information may also be disclosed where required by applicable law. We do not sell personal information.
Content published to a Facebook Page is visible according to that Page’s Facebook settings and is subject to Meta’s policies. Deleting information held for the app does not automatically remove an existing Facebook post; please identify any post you want removed when contacting us.
4. Retention and security
App information is kept only for as long as needed for authorized publishing, troubleshooting or applicable legal obligations. Access tokens should be removed or revoked when no longer needed. We use reasonable safeguards to limit unauthorized access; no internet service can guarantee absolute security.
5. Access, correction and data deletion
To ask about information associated with the app, request a correction or request deletion, email lawrencex832@gmail.com with the subject “BG Automation Data Deletion”.
Describe your request and provide the relevant Facebook Page name or ID, or a post link, so we can locate the information. We may request reasonable proof that you are authorized to make the request. We will confirm the outcome by email and explain any information that must be retained for legal reasons.
The operator can also revoke the app’s access through the relevant Facebook app or business integration settings. Revoking access stops future authorized API access but does not automatically delete already published posts.
6. This policy website
This page is hosted by Cloudflare Pages. We do not add analytics scripts, advertising trackers, contact forms or cookies to this page. Cloudflare may process technical request data, such as IP addresses and browser information, to deliver and protect the website under its Privacy Policy.
7. Changes and third-party services
We may update this policy if the app’s operation changes. The effective date above will be updated. Facebook’s own handling of information is described in Meta’s Privacy Policy.
